The NEW 7th Airwave Platform

Podcasting for communities.

Posted by Martin Spence on Jul 24, 2019

Today is the official launch of the 7th Airwave podcasting platform:

What is it all about?

We all naturally have a story to tell, it’s just not very obvious. The 7th Airwave podcasts are a genuine effort to get to know your fellow human beings better in real life. Business contacts and friend’s past, present and future can share their thoughts, fears and experiences within a friendly environment and who knows what will arise from it.

Today our world is filled with click-bait content, fake influence marketers, and “political hype”, but aren’t we just looking for an honest connection?  A connection that promotes a feeling of well-being and hope for the future. Our initial feedback has been really positive. The innovative and enterprising individuals running a small or start-up style business have connected up with new friends and shared their stories and thoughts to great effect, you can find them on:

Its not exclusive to business but open to all members of your community, get in touch if you would like to take part. Goto:

The podcasts are meant to be light-hearted, serious, inciteful and reflective but above all spontaneous. It’s a place to hold conversations bringing people together to promote and gain business within their local community. Yes, we can make money AND have fun.…This is all done in a big RED van...Planet Xoolon.

Each week we will be highlighting conversations from the van and inviting feedback and comments, and in time, share experiences resulting directly from these conversations. (there are 24 to date). You will recognise places and people that make up the local community and we encourage you to listen and learn, you never know where this might take you!

Podcasting is uniquely suited to a kind of honesty and connection that is rare today. It is valuable for your business and for yourself; that’s valuable in the sense of creating something where the “whole is greater than the sum of its parts” sense of value. Discuss!

This kind of personal, honest communication is the kind of connection which is a big part of what makes us human. It will be interesting to see how this project develops, I hope we can enjoy the journey together.
